Besides being a living and flexible natural material with a huge number of applications, wood is also a renewable resource, incredibly durable and completely carbon neutral. Woods absorbs CO2 as it grows, it stores it for its very long lifecycle and finally releases it as usable energy and heat.

Carpenter-made wooden countertops can last for an incredibly long time and can be renovated and repaired with just a little bit of effort and be made to look as good as new despite being very old.

Wood is a good choice

– not just because it is a renewable resource, but also because of the many decades (and in some cases, centuries) that the wood can endure and serve as a unique and functional element in the home’s decor.

Our most popular type of wood is FSC® -certified oak, which comes from European forests and which is converted into beautiful countertops, tables and stylish wood handicraft in our workshop in southern Denmark. Ask for the FSC® -certified types of wood.
