Wengé originating from in West & Central Africa.

The tree can grow up to 15 meters high and can reach a diameter of approx. 1 meter.

It is characterised by its beautiful dark brown and black yearlings. The tabletop achieves a nice and uniformed look with its decorative feather pattern once matured.

The colour is light brown and may appear blurred in its expression, but over time the timber matures to a dark chocolate brown/black and tan violet colour that almost tends to blacken.

Wengé also contains natural oils that increase natural protection and resilience, making it easy to maintain. Wengé is extremely tough, durable, strong and dense.
